Craig Green replied to Penn Pfiffner's discussion 'PRP take on Vande Krol attacks 2010 ballot measures'
Welcome to FPFM, Penn. I agree with you that Brian set the bar too low. Worrying about whether "Colorado" (a euphemism for state government) will "severely restrict... services" to maintain a status quo of government spending is…

PRP take on Vande Krol attacks 2010 ballot measures

A few days ago, Brian Vande Krol suggested that we oppose measures #60, 61 and #101 on this fall’s ballot.  The response from a number of Principles of Liberty alumni was immediate and vociferous – strong opposition to Brian’s position and to his candidacy for the state legislature on the Republican ticket.  Adam Gardner invited me to weigh in. The reactions seemed emotional and unhelpful.  They polarized conservatives into choosing whether restrictions on state spending means opposition to…See More

Paul Prentice replied to Craig Green's discussion 'Supremes Declare Social Security Constitutional'
Ever since judicial review was established under Marbury v Madison, we have faced an increasing "Tyrrany of the Judiciary" (Ref: Thomas Jefferson). The original Consitutional role of the judiciary as one of three co-equal branches of…

Article about "Ayn Rand and the Tea Party Protests"

Alumni of the FPFM class should find this article interesting. The author, Paul Hsieh, a doctor in the metro area, ties together the growing wave of tea parties and interest in Atlas Shrugged with its emphasis on individual rights and limited government.
